Allen Iverson

Allen Iverson was a High School basketball and football standout at Bethel High School in Hampton and had problems with the law. Most of his friends got away because they weren't known by the community. Allen Iverson was seventeen when he was convicted for a bowling alley brawl between rival blacks and whites.

Iverson had a five-year sentence for rioting in 1993. After four months he was granted clemency from the governor. Iverson then played in Georgetown before turning Pro.

Allen Iveron was selected Number One Overall in the 1996 NBA Draft. He was selected before Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash. He was picked up by the Philadelphia 76ers and has not officially retired.

He's not in his prime anymore but he still has problems retiring. Iverson, known for his crossovers, has an abused and broken body. He has problems with money and recently lost his Atlanta Mansion to foreclosure. I think it'll be better if he retired.
