John Stockton


John Stockton was undoubtedly one of the greatest point’s guards to ever play the game of basketball. Ever. Stockton played with such fluid and smooth ability, John Stockton's list of accomplishments and accolades are a testament to that.

 John Stockton averaged a career double-double, with 13.1 points and 10.5 assists per game. He holds the NBA's record for most career assists (15,806) by a gargantuan margin of more than 3,000, as well as the record for most career steals (3,265). He had five of the top six assists seasons in NBA history (the other belonging to Isaiah Thomas). He holds the NBA record for the most seasons, games, and consecutive games played with one team, and is third in total games played, behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Robert Parish. He missed only 22 games during his career, 18 of them in one season. He played in 38 games where he tallied 20 or more assists. It has been an agreed on by fans and commentators alike that john Stockton played some of the grittiest, toughest basketball that the league has ever seen, all the while being the humblest guy on the court

  John Stockton also known as "stock" was born March 26, 1962 to  Clementine Frei and Jack Stockton. Stockton is of Irish and Swiss ancestry (which not to shockingly explains his gritty yet humble demeanor). he played college ball at Gonzaga university in his hometown of Spokane, Washington. But in order to Stockton you have understand how he played smooth, never flashy, consistency over prettiness. Once you understand that you'll understand the enigma that was john Stockton. He never won an NBA championship, but he played every game like it was a championship game and with heart. And that's why to this day he is still admired by fans all over the world.
