The 2008 Oplympics; Michael Phelps

It has been 5 years now since the Olympics of Michael Phelps's gold victory. His 22nd metals to decorate his house all around. Right before he was about to race for his final gold, Michael slipped his earphones in calming his nerves for a greater winning advantage. Ready to face his most fearful opponent Ian Crocker; who holds the world record. You can see the shiver running down his spine, giving him goosebumps. You can only imagine how he's feeling. Especially because he lost to him just in the previous matches. Out of all the competitors, he's the one in Phelps's mind.

As the swimmers are lumbering slowly towards the starting line, you see Michael being the first in line. Almost as if he just wants to get over with, possibly because of the pressure from his country and fans. The booming noise comes from head top of the scoreboard, and the swimmers rush their whole bodies into the water like a thirsty beast that hasn't seen water in years. At this point, silence strikes and the people stand. The only thing in sight are legs leaving off the starting point with blast. The question in everyone's mind? Why is Michael already in the 5th place? Will he catch up and bring victory home?

Two minutes into the match and the struggle is obvious. To those that can't swim, drowning will be the first to mind. Michael slowly starts to pass his opponents, with his butterfly move in motion. 4th, 3rd, and now slowly in second place. To no surprise, Crocker was in lead, but not by very much. Time slows down and now we hit 3 minutes into the match. Michael puts all of his effort and slowly but surely, his takes the lead. Crocker now paces quickly almost taking number one, but time wasn't in his favor. Because Michael takes the ground and finishes first.
