The Yankees beat the Twins 6-3 at target field. The first inning the Twins were playing with full confidence. The Yankees didn't give up and hit four home runs to win the game. Their pitcher Andy Pietter was the cause why they won the game.
Both teams were struggling at first but got the hang of it the second inning. Granderson threw from the center of the field after fielding a two out single as Ryan Doumit raced from second base to home.
Raul Ibanez made a home runner right after Ryan.
In the locker room Andy was proud of his players. He said they play with full strength while they are on the field. But he said the biggest thing that makes us keep on going is our bench and telling us to not give up and putting our hopes up.
